
Buffalo native Kevin Durkin is active throughout Western New York as a choral conductor, organist, and music educator. At Canisius High School, he serves as the chair of the Arts Department, leads the school’s choral ensembles, and teaches group piano and music history. He has served as the director of music at several churches, including Calvary Episcopal Church (Williamsville) and St. Paul’s Cathedral (Buffalo). He holds a master’s degree in music performance (organ) from the University at Buffalo, and has completed additional studies in choral conducting, vocal pedagogy, and Alexander Technique at the Eastman School of Music (Rochester, NY) and Westminster Choir College (Princeton, NJ).
