Music is integral in the life of St. Matthias’ Church. We proudly worship in the Episcopal/Anglican tradition and believe music to be one of the Church’s greatest gifts.
Typically, the adult choir sings at Sunday Eucharists from September through June. The volunteer choir unites to sing God’s praises along with soloists and guests musicians. The group’s extensive repertoire ranges from plainsong chants to new American choral compositions and world music.
Membership in our adult choir is open to everyone. The choir periodically offers Evensong Services, and a Festival of Lessons and Carols in December.
Our choir welcomes musicians of all skill levels to share their talents whenever possible. Our youth provide splendid prelude music annually at our early Christmas Eve Eucharist.
Saint Matthias’ Church also proudly hosts the Roycroft Chamber Music Festival annually in June.
