There is a petition circulating around the Village to designate Walnut Street as “Kitty Turgeon Way” after our own beloved Kitty, God rest her soul. This will not change the name of Walnut Street, but will merely be an added name.
If you are resident in the Village of East Aurora, and would like to sign the petition, there is a copy on the bulletin board outside the parish offices. Please sign in the next week or two so that we can turn the petition in to the proper authorities. Many thanks!
