We hope you’ve marked your calendars for Evensong at 4PM! Worship in the solemn beauty of holiness with the Preces and Responses of William Smith and Harold Friedell’s Canticles in F. The choir, under the direction of Jordan Williams, will also offer anthems by Ola Gjeilo (Ubi Caritas), Eliza Gilkyson (Requiem – a hauntingly beautiful piece written after the Asian tsunami in 2004 and offered here in memory of the victims of this season’s hurricanes), and Jane Marshall (My Eternal King).
We invite you to come in out of the rain and cold and experience a service that will truly warm your soul. The Bills have a rare Sunda y off, and we hope you’ll spend your afternoon in worship and fellowship with your parish family and music lovers from across WNY.
A celebratory reception will follow, including a brief rededication of the newly beautified All Saints’ Hall. All are welcome. Kids too!
