St. Matthias’ Church will be 150 years old on Sunday, February 24!
Our first official celebration will include a combined Sunday service with Bishop Franklin presiding, and a Sesquicentennial Luncheon at the East Aurora American Legion.
Tickets for the festivities on February 24 are on sale now! Adults @ $20, Children 6-14 @ $10, but an anonymous donor has purchased 20 children’s tickets that are available at no extra cost with the purchase of at least one adult ticket. Children 5 and under are free. Buffet selections will have something for everyone. Beverages will include water, coffee, tea, a celebratory toast, plus a cash bar.
All who are attending the banquet may go to the Legion directly after church to see the displays and enjoy fellowship. Snacks will be available at that time. The meal will be served at 1 pm.
The deadline for purchasing tickets is February 12, cash or check made out to St. Matthias’ Church with a memo of “Banquet Ticket(s).”
