NEW FUN KID FRIENDLY WORSHIP IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING the SHROVE TUESDAY PANCAKE SUPPER!
Kids of ALL ages welcome to attend!
In the custom and tradition of the Church, the evening before is actually the start of any given day, so this year Mother Ann is creating a special, kid-friendly Ash Wednesday service to begin at 6:45 on Tuesday night, February 25th, at the end of our Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper (5:00 – 6:30pm)!
This short, “simple, inter generational, and meaningful” service will feature the singing of some simple songs, a little instruction about what we are doing, and the imposition of ashes. Since we will have “broken bread” together downstairs, there will not be a celebration of the Eucharist at that time.
Come and kick off Lent with some of the BEST pancakes anywhere, and get “ashed” a little early!
