19 May 1931 – 3 October 2018

All are welcome to a family visitation on November 2nd from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and a Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday, November 3rd, at 3:00 p.m.

Beloved of God,

It is with profound sadness and yet great hope in the Resurrection of our Lord JesusChrist that I write to let you know that our dear friend and brother, Father Bill Wipfler, entered into all the fullness and glory of Eternal Life early this morning with much of his family present.

Funeral plans are well underway, and I will keep you apprised as they unfold.
Meanwhile, let us give God all our thanks and praise for the gift and blessing of
Father Bill’s extraordinary life and ministry, and for all that he has done for us both as individuals and as a parish family.

Let us pray:

Almighty God, our Father in heaven, before whom live all who die in the Lord:
Receive our beloved Father Bill into the courts of your heavenly dwelling place. Let his heart and soul now ring out in joy to you, O Lord, the living God, and the God of those who live. This we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.

God, as Mary stood at the foot of the cross, we come before you with broken hearts and tearful eyes. Keep us mindful that you know our pain, and free us to see your resurrection power already at work in Father Bill’s life. In your time, raise us from our grief even as you are raising Father Bill to eternal life; through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen.

Even at the grave we make our song:
Alleluia, alleluia, alleluia.

Rest eternal grant to him, O Lord;
and let light perpetual shine upon him.
May his soul, and the souls of all the departed,
through the grace and mercy of God, rest in peace.

Faithfully yours in Christ’s love,

~Mother Ann+
